This year, GLAAD is proud to partner with BOOM!Studios on the panel "The Future is LGBTQ," which includes prominent voices in pop culture discussing LGBTQ representation and our future in media. There are panels focused on inclusion of people of color, women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized voices. This year's panels, screenings, and meet-ups include several events focused on LGBTQ content, and furthering diversity of all fields in comics, movies, and television. New York Comic Con kicks off today and runs through Sunday, October 8, bringing creators and fans of comic books, films and television together for four days of jam packed programming.
